Anxiety can show up as physical symptoms:

  • change in appetite or sleep
  • a racing heart
  • panic attacks
  • muscle tension
  • irritability

Depression and Anxiety are often interconnected. Thoughts can get obsessive zeroing in on the negatives and “what if” scenarios.

Focusing on the past or future. Interfering with your ability to enjoy the present.

On the surface, you have it all together. But in your head there’s this on going cascade of negative thoughts.

To manage stress and address anxiety and/or depression, I may use supportive counseling, Mindfulness, and an evidence based treatment approach called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Therapy, when indicated.
